About the Holston Valley Green Building Coalition
The Holston Valley Green Building Coalition was formed by Appalachian Sustainable Development and HVAC, Inc. in August 2007 to address the building needs of the local community.
The Coalition's focus is on putting service and product providers together with consumers and advocates. We wish to promote green building practices, including the provision of those products and services by local businesses.
Coalition members include:
- Local business owners, managers & staff
- City and state department officials
- Residential and commercial consumers
The HVGBC holds meetings on the 4th Thursday of every month from 5:30pm - 7:00pm at different locations in Bristol, VA, Johnson City, TN and Kingsport, TN. Every meeting includes time for networking and a presentation on a green building topic.
