Join Our Chapter!
By joining the Holston Valley Green Building Coalition you can help us to promote sustainable living in Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee. We are a branch of the Southwest Virginia Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
In order to join our branch, you will need to join either the SWVA Chapter or the East Tennesse Chapter of the USGBC. You can join on the USGBC national website. A Revenue Share Agreement has been approved with the SWVA Chapter for individual and corporate membership proceeds to financially benefit HVGBC. The same is being developed with the East TN Chapter, but as of now, no proceeds from individual membership from those residing in the Tennessee tri-cities area will benefit HVGBC. This should change soon.
Membership is available to businesses, organizations, municipalities and inviduals. (View membership fees and dues by organization type.)
How to Join
1. Go to this link to create a new account on the USGBC Website: New Account
2. Fill out the form to create an account and click submit.
3. Check your email for the verification link and click the link contained in it. (This will take you back to the home page of the USGBC website.)
4. Click JOIN at the top right, again.
5. Choose the option to Join a Chapter.
6. From the list of chapters, select Southwest Virginia Chapter.
7. Select your payment option and make payment.
Congratulations you are now a member of the Holston Valley Green Building Coalition!
